Nature’s Car Wash

Car Wash Falls

Forget the $20/month car wash plan, or spending the afternoon washing your truck. Get in, buckle up and let’s take a trip into the Ozark National Forest.

Literally in the middle of nowhere, but hey that’s how we like things in Arkansas. If it was in the city, it wouldn’t be this awesome, and you can bet someone would be charging you $10 to use it. We made it easy for you. Here’s where you’re going:

Alright, now that you’ve packed a lunch and you’re headed out, you should also know that the area boasts some other notable water falls. The most common is Haw Creek Falls. Pretty easy to get to, and definitely a must see. This, like most waterfalls in Arkansas, is rain dependent. So, go during the rain, or after a good rain. And cue up Rolls Royce’s “Carwash” while you’re at it.

If you see a local mom and pop gas station, stop in. Buy a coke and chat up the locals. Old timers are rich with knowledge and you never know what off the beaten path education they can give. Also, those places always make the best sandwiches…

Get out and EXPLORE!

Y’all have at it!
